International Artist Diploma Recital Series
This Spring, we’re delighted to present a series of concerts by some of the RNCM’s most outstanding young performers. We begin with four recitals featuring musicians who are currently studying for the College’s International Artist Diploma in Solo Performance, a course designed for soloists on the cusp of an international performing career. These talented musicians will then turn their attentions to the concerto repertoire, their choices feeding a weekend of wonderful repertoire with the RNCM’s resident orchestra, Manchester Camerata.

Two giants dominate the current Danish musical
landscape - Per Nørgård and Hans Abrahamsen.
Although their music is very different, both
composers have reacted to the post-Nielsen
aesthetic by embracing soundscapes full of
drama, mystery and colour.
