Alumnus Wins Chance to Record at Abbey Road
Alumnus Steven Jackson has been chosen as one of eight winners in the 2011 Abbey Road Studio Anthem Competition for his composition So Alive, So Clear.
In celebration of the Studio’s 80th anniversary, the competition was open to musicians of all ages across the globe in a bid to find original, unsigned and undiscovered composers.
Now, Steven has the opportunity to record the work in Abbey Road Studio’s famous Studio One, with the internationally acclaimed London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by renowned composer Eric Whitacre, and some of the UK’s finest singers.
